A New York State Favorite - A Perfect Complement to Our Maple Syrup
What began as a recreational weekend property in Masonville, NY, is quickly transforming into a passion for living off the land. "Anna's" meadow was started in 2017 and will feature wildflowers, vegetables and livestock in the future. Harris has begun the process of tapping Maple trees for Syrup production in 2019.
2021 was a great year on the farm! 2022 crop is here!!
Our Years In Review
2018
Our equipment shed was erected in the fall of 2017. A portion of Anna's Meadow will be cleared. A SugarHouse will follow in the Summer of 2018 to boil and evaporate Maple Sap into Syrup.
2019
150 trees tapped with a total of 175 taps producing 27 gallons of syrup.
2020
600 trees tapped with a total of 658 taps producing 112 gallons of syrup.
Anna's Meadow was de-stumped in the fall of 2019 and ready for grading in the late spring 2020
2021
Snowy start to the season, tapped trees in 3 ft of snow! We added a sap pre-heater powered by steam and forced air to more efficiently process sap, while maintaining our delicious flavor. We produced 88 gallons of syrup, as warm weather impacted the entire crop in North America.
2022
Take a look below! We added a new vacuum system and vac house! We love taking care of and working this land to produce a natural and delicious product! Enjoy and thank you for supporting us small, local farmers.
2023
First Full Season with our Roadside Farm Store! What a difference a year makes! Maple trees where quite generous with their sap this year. We added Maple PepperSalt Spices, and super excited about our Maple Sugar Candies! More Great things coming to the farm!

The new Vac House was delivered and a high vacuum and releaser where installed.
A Steam Away and Steam Hood is added to the evaporator.
1000's of feet of Maple line tubing were run through the woods to achieve 175 Drop Lines for Spiles(taps)
The Sugar House is set up and ready to accept sap. The first firing of the evaporator in order to season the pans
Great thanks to Kauffman Building for building a Sugar House to Harris' specifications and beyond his expectations!
Site survey was done and Blue Stone from the property was utilized for the retaining walls
It all began May 1, 2018 with the clearing of 3/4 of an acre in Anna's Meadow
Land is cleared and the road is in for the foundation
